In plasma cutting systems, the distance between the plasma torch and the work peace is critical to both cutting quality and parts life. In order to control this distance you have to use Electronic Torch Height Control (THC) Systems.
In this blog we will work together to learn more about THC and try to build a cost effective open source and open hardware THC System. You can try to build one for your plasma system. Please do not use these info for commercial purposes.
